MSME Information System (MSME-IS)

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is an important framework, which has been evolves through a long inclusive process resolved in the UN Summit Meet held during September 2015.The SDGs goals with 169 targets which has to be addressed to eliminate poverty and embracing a wide range of inter-connected topic across economic, social and environmental dimensions of Sustainable Development. The goals are universally applicable in developing and developed countries alike. Governments are expected to transfer them to national action plan, policies and initiatives, reflecting different realities and capacities their countries possess. The Government of Tamil Nadu is committed to implement the Sustainable Development Goals and pursing action in order to achieve the UN initiate. The Commissionerate of Industries and Commerce has embarked on the perspective of formalizing an online mechanism to collate data from the registered MSMEs of the state through our portal.
