About Central Electrical Testing Laboratory (CETL)
  • The Central Electrical Testing Laboratory (CETL), Kakkalur is functioning under the control of the Industries Commissioner since 1973. It is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), a Constituent Board under the Quality Council of India and recognised by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of ConsumerAffairs, Government of India.
  • CETL offers a 2 day training programme in testing of electrical products in which 507 personnel from various organizations have undergone training.
  • During the year 2024-25 CETL earned a revenue of Rs.62.47 lakh by testing 1499 samples.
